At the moment, I'm listening to the songs on that website. They sound pretty good, to my ears at least.

lately, I've been listening to a lot of Rage Against the Machine, Weezer, Jimi Hendrix, and Nirvana.
This is the new sound
Just like the old sound
Just like the noose wound
Over the new ground
Like ashes in the fall

Radiohead, Interpol, Massive Attack & Filter are the bands I like that you've probally heard of.. For stuff you've probally never heard off....
*Takes deep breath* B-E-N-D-E-R, pete., Air, ON, the pillows, Drain STH, FC Kahuna, MC Chris, Fisherspooner, The Avalanches, Zen Guerilla, Hive, Boards Of Canada, Sigur Ros, Joe Satriani, DJ QBert, Modest Mouse, Moby, Nick Drake, The Offspring, Aqualung, Beck, Bjork, Cibo Matto, Celldweller, Daft Punk, DJ Liquid, SEAL, Klint, Lords Of Acid, Scapegoat Wax, Smashing Pumpkins, The Who, KANSAS, YES, Yoko Kanno, Echo Sex... The list just goes on. Basicly, dark alternative (Radiohead, Interpol.. Stuff like that), Trip-hop (NOT hip-hop. Trip-hop is actauly talanted and is pretty dark), some heavy stuff as long as it's unique (Like Filter or Drain STH), and dance/techno/electronica is fun (Prodigy, Crystal Method, Lords Of Acid, Moby...). I don't like punk except for The Offpsring, don't like anything on MTV, and I espcially -hate- pop like Britney Spears.
And yeah, I know my taste is odd.

i have a 1845 song "techno" playlist. there really isn't any other word that fits just one genre. but some of the artists on it are:
darude
infected mushroom
atb
toby emerson
crystal method
daft punk
prodigy
paul oakenfold
paul van dyk
fatboy slim
orbital
tiesto
armin van buuren
those are the ones that people will recognise.
i also have about 1200 songs off of ocremix.org. its a game remix site. most of the songs suck, but i don't like to delete thing, so yep. thats what i listen to most of the time.
(then there is real music like metallica)

I don't listen to music, own any CDs or have any music here on this computer other than the stuff that's in the games and/or movies I play/watch.
However, just because I don't listen to music in my free time doesn't mean there aren't sorts I enjoy.

lets see now
mudvayne, rammstein, fear factory, dry kill logic, hammerfall, in flames, lacuna coil, rhapsody, the tea party, tool, meshuggah, skindred, nightwish, soilwork, johnny cash, static x; to name a few. those are the main ones on my play list
but i delve into other genres as well: some techno (crystal method, prodigy, your generic drum n bass, ambient), a few anime opening songs (cant help it, i'm an anime fan ), and a bunch of other stuff. however the body of my listening preferences is metal

This is a local garage band.
I know the drummer (the one on the far right on the couch) personally.

They play at shows around Puget Sound and stuff. Everything you hear was recorded in their garage.

I know there is a thread somewhere else down the list here, but meh...
I'm mainly a punk fan, alternative rock 80's and 90's, 90's rock, 80's retro, some rave, and grunge.
